Greetings from snowy Juneau...

More than 4 feet of snow in November! That’s a lot, even for Alaska. Almost a record in fact.  But we’re dealing, and even having some fun with it. Julie and I went snowshoeing at Mendenhall Glacier this past weekend and had a lot of fun. Really feel sorry for those of you stuck in warm and sunny climes.  You are missing the myriad joys of shoveling snow and driving on icy roads.  Don’t be too envious!

As promised last month, here is my (Mark’s) detailed report on the India trip.

After spending the night in Delhi, we loaded up the bus and left for Jaipur.  The bus ride was actually fun, we got to know each other, lots of laughter, lots of fellowship.  Just outside of Jaipur we stopped at a spot overlooking the city and prayed. We prayed for freedom for Jaipur, we prayed that her people would come to the Lord, we prayed that city would become a light for the region… mostly, though, we prayed for His presence, His love and His grace.  And, wow, did Jesus answer.

Our first ministry time was dynamic from the start.  Almost immediately prophetic words, words of knowledge, and healing began to flow. One lady in particular was highlighted to several of us. Turns out she was the wife of a man who oversees a group of churches and the Father was calling her out to increase her anointing. I know, doesn’t seem like that big a deal, but 3 or 4 of us all had the same word for her, simultaneously. Quite an encouragement from the Father.  There were multiple healings, mostly of back pain and injuries.

That night, we went out in teams of 2 and 3 to different churches. The church my team went to was young, vibrant and very much in love with the Lord. Each of us spoke for a few minutes, then began to pray for the sick.  Wow, what a night. A young boy, about 10 or 11, took his first steps in years, the Lord healed several people of breathing problems, a couple had hearing restored, and many had back and joint ailments healed.
The whole trip went this way.  Everywhere we went, Jesus showed up in power. Next month I’ll share a bit more about the relational and emotional healings that He brought, but I need to talk a bit about Nigeria and the next trip to India.

BACK TO INDIA
The next India trip is coming in late February. This is a new date for the annual Pastors and ministers conference in Pune. This years theme is “Living from Relationship.” We will also be holding a youth conference the first week of March. We’ll update as the plans come together, but right now it looks as though at least 2 people will be joining me on this trip.

The cost of this trip will be about $4000.00 for airfare, food, lodging and conference expenses. Thank you for prayerfully considering giving towards this trip. Thanks for all you’ve done that contributes to our ability to go to the lost.

Julie, the girls and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Yours for the Kingdom,

Mark and Julie
