Greetings from the “It can’t make up its mind” North,

 Snow, rain, rain, snow, sleet, a little blue. Repeat. Again and again and again. That’s our beloved Southeast Alaska weather. Normally this type of schizophrenic activity is reserved for spring. Wait, maybe that’s a good thing!

INDIA 2013 MISSION
Right now it’s all about Pune, India. The team is set: Mark, Greg Stevens (Pastor from Durbin, South Africa), and Norbert Rodriguez, (Pastor from Michigan). Wow, God put together quite a team for this trip.  The level of expectation is off the charts. This should be a dynamic, powerful conference.

The focus of this conference will again be revival and His presence.  Mark will be teaching “A Bride Fit for a King,” encouraging everyone to see the Church as God sees it; overcoming, beautiful, and loved by her Bridegroom. Greg will be sharing “Shifting Culture”. He describes his teaching as “sharing around the topic of God anointing us to do life in a way that gets others to think differently about God, differently about others and even differently about themselves, and in so doing, see a shift in peoples lives and ways of doing things.”
Now on to the nuts and bolts.  The cost of this trip is $5000.  And we need your help. With the economy still lethargic, raising finances can be hard.  Everyone is feeling the pinch, but the work of His kingdom goes on.  Would you prayerfully consider digging a little deeper to help with this trip? Heaven knows that those of you who are reading this are an incredibly generous people. To ask for you to give more is hard, but we know His rewards will always be greater than our sacrifice.

Uganda Trip Report

“ And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2 We arrived home on May 30th, safe and sound from a wonderful time of ministry in Uganda. KAMPALA - the capitol of Uganda, and the place where we ministered, is a most beautiful city. Originally positioned on 7 hills, now spilling over onto 10, Kampala is a lush paradise of tropical plants, trees and flowers, and home to some of the most beautiful birds I’ve ever seen. Although its location is just barely north of the Equator, its altitude of 4300 feet above sea level provides a moderate climate year round that is most enjoyable. The southeastern part of the city is on the shores of Lake Victoria, the world’s 3rd largest lake by area, Africa’s largest lake by area, and the largest tropical lake in the world. "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14 It's hard to believe this year has come and gone already, and that 2015 is literally right around the corner. We have had a wonderful year. Another year of changes, but a wonderful year none the less. New great grand babies (and 2 more on the way), new jobs and new ministry opportunities. And for all of these things, we are truly grateful and blessed. One of my favorite parts of the Christmas season (that's different than the Christmas Story), is listening to all of the Christmas songs, from the traditional choir carols to the latest arrangement sung by the newest acapella group.
