“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.” I Corinthians 15:20
Praise God for His plan of salvation for all mankind.
Praise God that Jesus willingly became the final sacrifice for sin.
Praise God that Jesus victoriously rose from the grave, triumphant over death.
We who have believed in Him are so blessed.
Today, we walk in victory because Jesus purchased victory for us.
Today, we have the hope and promise of eternal life because of His victorious work on our behalf.
Today, we look forward to the time when we will rise from this earth to meet Him in the air and live with Him forever. And, as the song goes, “What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see.” Wonderful day, indeed.
Thank you, Lord, for your great love for us.
Thank you, Lord, for the Easter season that causes us to reflect, one more time, on all you have done for us.
Today, we also carry on with the work He has given us to do until That Day arrives. We have heard His message. We have believed. But multitudes more have not yet heard. So we go, and we tell, and we help strengthen the laborers in those other fields to carry on faithfully with the work God has given them to do.
India
Is still a difficult field. But, the Lord is still working in that field, and the church, though small in comparison to the total population, continues to increase and remain faithful to Him.
Mark and the team leave on April 24th for this year’s Pastors and Ministers Conference. Please keep them and all the attendees in your prayers. We are asking God for a tremendous outpouring of His Spirit in these meetings.
We are praising God for the provision of funds for this trip, and are believing Him for the remaining balance to come in.
Teaching Materials
We are making good progress on the updating of our Student Manual for our Introduction to the Bible course. By the middle of-May, we will have completed the first phase of this project, and look forward to showing it to you. The next phase of this project is to produce teaching sessions on DVD’s that will accompany the Student Manual, making it a complete teaching package. This course of study is proving to be a real blessing to the Adult Bible Class in my home church, and that makes us very glad. I will be especially glad when we get it into the hands of our national pastors in India, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, and anywhere else the Lord gives us opportunity.

God never intended for any one of us to be able to do His work alone. He always intended for us to do it together as a body.
