 Greetings from the Great White North.

Here we go again. Record snow in November, barely any for most of December, now it’s piling up again. Such is life in Southeast Alaska. At least it’s never boring.

INDIA CONFERENCE
The plans for the India conference are progressing nicely. The conference theme is Living From Relationship.
The focus of the conference will be living a life of relationship with God as opposed to a life lived by formula and principles. The conference format is workshop based and each teacher will be teaching every day. The theme and focus of the conference allows for a broad range of topics and the teachers are free to pick the topic of their choice. The attendees will be given a list of workshops and allowed to attend those that pique their interest.

The daily schedule will include four meetings. Everybody will gather in the morning for a brief service of praise and worship and perhaps a little teaching. Then we will split up into workshops followed by lunch. After lunch we will return to workshops and conclude with an evening service of teaching and praise and worship.

We will also be spending a lot of time praying for those who are sick, those in need of emotional healing and those who simply want an encounter with God. Our hope is to foster a revival culture and our expectation is for the Father to show up in power.

Mark will be staying an extra three or four days in order to spend time with Bhalchandra and Vilas, making plans for future ministry in India.

We’re really looking forward to a great trip and just enjoying time with our brothers and sisters in India.

INDIA TRIP COST
Mark’s cost for this trip are expected to be about $4,500 and this will cover air fare, conference fees and in-country food and housing. Received to date: $600. Balance Needed: $3,900.

 Please pray for each of the four teachers (Mark, Greg Stephens, Bill Paddock and Larry Koontz) that they will hear and communicate the heart of the Father with love, with power and with grace.

Greetings from the Balmy North, Well, relatively balmy. We’re still in the mid 30’s, downright tropical for mid-December here. But this too, shall pass and soon enough we’ll be buried under several feet of snow and the rise of the mercury will stop in the single digits. Wow! What a trip! Or is that trips? ROMANIA The main goal for the Romanian leg of the trip was to meet with Pastor Adi and move ahead on the School of Ministry; and that is exactly what happened. If the speed with which this year has started is any indicator of what the rest of this year will be.....I may have to stop now and again to catch my breath. That thought excites me, and I hope that is exactly how it will be. My highest hope for you and me is that the perfect will of God will be accomplished in each of our lives so that multitudes will come to know Jesus our Savior, that He may be gloried and that we may be edified more and more each day.  In some ways, I am still in Thanksgiving mode. Actually, I am always in thanksgiving mode, but the news I am sharing with you now is a carryover from a $1200 project I presented to you in our October 2015 newsletter to purchase a new desktop computer for the work in India. Greetings from the Great Land, Just a bit of trivia. Alaska is the English version of Alyeska, which is Aleut for the Great Land. And it truly is a great land. Pastor Mathew Ondicho, Nairobi, Kenya This month we want to introduce you to a friend of Mark’s. His name is Mathew Ondicho and he’s a pastor and evangelist in Kenya. Mathew is one of 7 children, born into a poor, rural family. Mathew was saved at 5, and by the time he was 7 he was preaching in public. He was so small he had to stand on a table so the congregation could see him. In 2007, God called him into the slums of Nairobi, some 250 miles from his home. Since then, he has planted several churches, conducted numerous crusades and established a feeding program for orphans and widows. Pastor Mathew and his wife, Vane, work side by side to advance the Kingdom, taking ground back from the enemy.
