News From The North
Greetings from Sunny Northern California!
We finally made it! After 7+ years of praying about this move, several false starts and numerous disappointments, we finally are here. And it’s everything we expected and more. We’re settling into life quite easily and enjoying it already.
The trip south was an adventure. I (Mark) intended to do some fishing but a broken leaf spring on our trailer took my fishing time and money. Stuff like that gets real expensive in northern British Columbia. You see, there aren’t very many people, in fact I’d guess there are literally more bison and bears than people in the region. But goodness is it beautiful! All in all a nice trip, full of wonderful scenery and wildlife. And the best part... seeing my beautiful wife at the end!
Romania is set. I leave on the 24th of July and return on August 3rd. I’m looking forward to meeting with Pastor Adi again and ironing out some details for the School of Ministry.
Speaking of the School, please lift that project up in prayer. Right now, I’m well into Phase 2 and hoping to get a start on Phase 3 before I see Pastor Adi.
In addition to this, Sandor has plans for ministry in Cluj and some outreach among the Gypsies! This is an exciting opportunity. Please keep this in prayer as well.
Thank you, Father, the ticket for this trip is paid for!
We do still need about $600 for in-country travel, food and housing. Anything you could do to help meet this need would really be appreciated.
Kenya is still in the works. We’re planning to partner with Vision Church out of Idaho for a trip this fall. Their pastor, Benji Graves, is a longtime friend and it would be wonderful to minister together. We hope to get a group together for a trip this fall. If not, I’m going to go and minister with Pastor Mathew sometime in November.
India is still in the works as well. With the move and everything, dates are a question, but Bhalchandra has a doctor that has offered to work with a team from the U.S. So the task ow has become putting together a group to do a medical outreach to rural India. Quite an opportunity if you or someone you know is interested. Pray about it and let us know.
Thanks for all you do to help us take the Gospel into these nations. Without your generosity and your prayers this work doesn’t get done.
Yours for the Kingdom,
Mark and Julie Dyar
