From Mary Ann's Desk...
“...though it (the vision) tarry, wait for it...”. Habakkuk 2:3
The new year is off to a good start for us, and we hope the same is true for you. We greeted the New Year with anticipation, and we are expecting the answers to a number of petitions that we have placed before our heavenly Father. I am excited to learn what His answers to us will be. I know they will be good answers, and they will be the right ones for us. Praise God.
TEACHING MATERIALS UPDATE
Jennifer and I continue working on updating our “Introduction to the Bible” Student Manual. It is coming along quite well, and will be the first of more to follow. Were it not for the fact that Jennifer also works a secular job, we would have finished by now, but the end is in sight.
In our September newsletter last year, I announced that I would begin teaching this course in October in my home church on Wednesday nights. As it turned out, the kickoff date got pushed ahead to January 23, 2013, so we have now completed the first two sessions.
Our fellow laborers in Uganda and India have expressed their desire for these courses to be made available in video format, if at all possible. I am very grateful to the staff of our home church who have graciously agreed to record the Wednesday night teaching sessions for us so that we can, in turn, produce a set of DVDs to accompany the Student Manual.
You know, we had a vision for this many, many years ago, but it was just not possible then. At the very least, it was cost prohibitive. I will never cease to be amazed that God never forgets those desires of our hearts, especially if He put those desires in our hearts in the first place.
SPRING ITINERARY
March 4-6 Elim Church Annual Convocation, Pasadena, Texas, Pastor Ron Nissen
April 1-4 Lighthouse Worship Center, Galliano, Louisiana, Pastor Eno Dantin, Annual Missions Convention

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS FROM INDIA
Just a few days ago, Pastor Bhalchandra Kamble emailed me asking us to join him and the people of his state, Maharashtra, concerning several special needs. We are asking that you would also join us in prayer.
He writes: “We have to share some prayer needs.
1. Right now I am working on a thirty days prayer booklet for Maharashtra. It is very challenging and time consuming. There are so many hurdles to overcome. But I am working on it anyway. That is my commitment.
2. Another thing is, we have to move in the month of March 2013. It is not easy to move here, and we have to find a new house. That means a lot of expense in shifting, and also the rent will increase. But we are believing God through all this. He has been faithful till now and He will continue to be. I know my job is to focus on the work that The Lord has entrusted to us.
3. In our state, especially, we are facing drought - lot of water problem right now and will increase, the report says, in the days to come. So we need your prayers for our state of Maharashtra.”
Thank You for joining us in prayer for our Indian brothers and sisters, and thank you, too, for all your prayers and financial support of LTI. I love the passage in Hebrews 6:10 that says, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have showed toward his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” How wonderful to know that God does not forget, and neither do we. You are always in our thoughts and prayers as we express our gratitude to the Lord for you, and pray for His continued blessings, always, in your lives.
Because there are over 4.4 billion people in the world who still need Jesus, I remain
Yours in missions,
Mary Ann Cassidy
