It's Been a Busy Month...

A Very Busy Month
The Blog

At some point in every day I sit at my computer to write on my blog apassionformissions.org, becoming more and more skilled in doing this project. There are still a few more “construction” things that need to be done before the site is finished. I think everything will be accomplished by the end of this month. I am very happy with it and thank the Lord for this tool that will allow me to cast the net for new generations of full-time missionaries until He comes again.


Some of the topics that are, or will be written about are: the vision for the blog, including Casting the Net with details;  The Need, The Call and The Preparation for ministry as a missionary; God’s desire for us to finish the work, along with a Daily Blessing. As a friend and partner of LTI, I think you will be blessed by reading it. I hope you do. And I hope it does.
Speaking Spots
On September 27th, I was blessed to share the achievement of launching apassionformissions.org at the 26th Annual Missions Convention at my home church Wings of Faith Fellowship, Ocala, Florida.
On October 6th, I will be sharing the ministry of LTI with Rolling Greens Community Church near where I live. 
For both opportunities, I am thankful.
To My Partners
As always, I am thankful to the Lord for your faithful love and partnership with me in the gospel. Together, we are still accomplishing things for Jesus. I know He rejoices over you with joy just as I do. God bless you.
 Because there are over 4.4 billion people in the world who still need Jesus, I remain

Greetings from the Balmy North, Well, relatively balmy. We’re still in the mid 30’s, downright tropical for mid-December here. But this too, shall pass and soon enough we’ll be buried under several feet of snow and the rise of the mercury will stop in the single digits. Wow! What a trip! Or is that trips? Anyway, what a wonderful time in the Lord and with His family. ROMANIA The main goal for the Romanian leg of the trip was to meet with Pastor Adi and move ahead on the School of Ministry; and that is exactly what happened. A prime example of a divine appointment. We were in complete agreement about the form the school should take, where it should start, goals and timing. If the speed with which this year has started is any indicator of what the rest of this year will be.....I may have to stop now and again to catch my breath. That thought excites me, and I hope that is exactly how it will be. My highest hope for you and me is that the perfect will of God will be accomplished in each of our lives so that multitudes will come to know Jesus our Savior, that He may be gloried and that we may be edified more and more each day.  In some ways, I am still in Thanksgiving mode. Actually, I am always in thanksgiving mode, but the news I am sharing with you now is a carryover from a $1200 project I presented to you in our October 2015 newsletter to purchase a new desktop computer for the work in India. Greetings from the Great Land, Just a bit of trivia. Alaska is the English version of Alyeska, which is Aleut for the Great Land. And it truly is a great land. Pastor Mathew Ondicho, Nairobi, Kenya This month we want to introduce you to a friend of Mark’s. His name is Mathew Ondicho and he’s a pastor and evangelist in Kenya. Mathew is one of 7 children, born into a poor, rural family. Mathew was saved at 5, and by the time he was 7 he was preaching in public. He was so small he had to stand on a table so the congregation could see him. In 2007, God called him into the slums of Nairobi, some 250 miles from his home. Since then, he has planted several churches, conducted numerous crusades and established a feeding program for orphans and widows. Pastor Mathew and his wife, Vane, work side by side to advance the Kingdom, taking ground back from the enemy.
