Rev. Bud Cassidy Memorial Leadership Library Dedication
“Pay to everyone what is due them…honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 TLV
I am changing the focus of this newsletter to the on-going work in Nigeria, in order to share with you pictures from the formal dedication of the Rev. Bud Cassidy Memorial Leadership Library that is established in and through the ministry of Rev. and Mrs. Chuwang Davou and their ministry, Grace and Peace Foundation, Jos, Nigeria.
It gives me great joy to be able to honor my late husband, the love of my life, and Founder of Leadership Training International, alongside the wonderful Nigerians who loved/love him so dearly. He dearly loved them. Were he still with us today, his heart would be overflowing with joyful appreciation for the memorial they have raised in his honor. This pictorial presentation is the result of only one of the tens of thousands of others who are also in full-time ministry today because of his visionary leadership to raise up, teach, and equip nationals to fulfill their own God given callings to evangelize and pastor their own people. They are a very large part of his legacy. The work that he began continues through them. The church in northern Nigeria and other countries is much richer and stronger because of his dedication to this, his calling.Again, this year, David Smoot couriered more books from our personal library and more LTI General Fund money for the purchase of additional books for the Library. In addition, he participated in the official dedication ceremonies of this wonderful library. Thank you, David, for your years of labor with Bud in Nigeria, and your continuing labors there.
In 2017 Pastor Robert Wells helped fund this project with a generous gift of $500. I/We appreciate this expression of his love for Bud and his labors in Nigeria; so much so, that I want to say Thank You again, Pastor Wells.
Because there are over 4.4 billion people in the world who still need Jesus, I remain
Yours in missions,
Mary Ann Cassidy
