2017
It’s Here! It’s a New Year! A blank page waiting to be written upon! What will we write? Each of us? At the end of this year, what will our report be? For some, it will be life as usual. For others, it will be facing challenges never thought of. Still others will hear the voice of the Lord directing them toward new horizons.

Whatever path lies before us, the important thing is that each of us endeavors to follow the purpose of God – His destiny -  for us. When that is happening, we are filled with joy and a great sense of accomplishment. We are blessed. We are happy.

So, I wish you a year filled to overflowing with blessing, joy and happiness all year through.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

 2016 Christmas
2016 ended quietly for my family. We are always scattered because Julie and Mark’s family gather with them in California. The rest of my family live in Florida, and we gather at one of our homes for our Christmas celebration. For various reasons, we were not able to do that last month, so Janna and I were together for Christmas. We had a good time together. We always do.

Now, we are back on the regular track. I am busy writing and continuing my collaborative efforts with Chuwang Davou in Nigeria and Bhalchandra Kamble in India.

I ask you to keep all of us at LTI in your prayers, as we keep you in ours. And we know that our God will supply all the answers for each of us.

I send a special Thank You to all who faithfully partner with us financially and in prayer. May the Lord abundantly bless you is my prayer.

Because there are over 4.4 billion people in the world who still need Jesus, I remain

Greetings from the Balmy North, Well, relatively balmy. We’re still in the mid 30’s, downright tropical for mid-December here. But this too, shall pass and soon enough we’ll be buried under several feet of snow and the rise of the mercury will stop in the single digits. Wow! What a trip! Or is that trips? Anyway, what a wonderful time in the Lord and with His family. ROMANIA The main goal for the Romanian leg of the trip was to meet with Pastor Adi and move ahead on the School of Ministry; and that is exactly what happened. A prime example of a divine appointment. We were in complete agreement about the form the school should take, where it should start, goals and timing. If the speed with which this year has started is any indicator of what the rest of this year will be.....I may have to stop now and again to catch my breath. That thought excites me, and I hope that is exactly how it will be. My highest hope for you and me is that the perfect will of God will be accomplished in each of our lives so that multitudes will come to know Jesus our Savior, that He may be gloried and that we may be edified more and more each day.  In some ways, I am still in Thanksgiving mode. Actually, I am always in thanksgiving mode, but the news I am sharing with you now is a carryover from a $1200 project I presented to you in our October 2015 newsletter to purchase a new desktop computer for the work in India. Greetings from the Great Land, Just a bit of trivia. Alaska is the English version of Alyeska, which is Aleut for the Great Land. And it truly is a great land. Pastor Mathew Ondicho, Nairobi, Kenya This month we want to introduce you to a friend of Mark’s. His name is Mathew Ondicho and he’s a pastor and evangelist in Kenya. Mathew is one of 7 children, born into a poor, rural family. Mathew was saved at 5, and by the time he was 7 he was preaching in public. He was so small he had to stand on a table so the congregation could see him. In 2007, God called him into the slums of Nairobi, some 250 miles from his home. Since then, he has planted several churches, conducted numerous crusades and established a feeding program for orphans and widows. Pastor Mathew and his wife, Vane, work side by side to advance the Kingdom, taking ground back from the enemy.
