News From the Dyars...

Greetings from hot, hot, hot Redding!

We trust you are all doing well. We have great news to report. The final amount needed for the Kenya trip has come in and we are finalizing plans. We are narrowing down dates but August 23rd through September 12th looks like the time frame for Mark to be in country. He will be speaking in three churches while he is there, ministering at the orphanage, doing street ministry in the slums, and meeting with individual pastors. Mark will also begin discussions with them regarding establishing a ministry school.

As we mentioned in the last newsletter, the Kenyans we are working with are hungry. They have a desire to see more of God and host His presence with excellence. We are very excited and honored to be part of the process with them. We believe the Lord is giving us some strategies to be more efficient and effective in mentoring them. The goal, the vision is for the whole of Kenya to come into her place in the Kingdom. We are convinced the answer, the path towards that goal is revival and reformation.

For Kenya, Romania and our own country, these old song lyrics have never been more true: “Jesus is the answer for the world today.”

One of Mark’s major passions is to actually take people over seas. He’s an old YWAMer who understands the impact both for the one going and for those who receive from them. The door is always open if someone has the desire to go on a trip with him. If that’s you feel free to call him at (907)957-3070 or you can email him at markdyar@gmail.com.

We have several invitations for here in the States between now and the end of the year. We need the Lord’s guidance and provision in order to be able to say yes. Your prayers for us in this area are greatly appreciated. Without going into too many details, we also covet your prayers for our extended family. Mark’s family in particular is dealing with sickness on many fronts and your prayer support is greatly appreciated.

Yours for the kingdom,

Mark & Julie Dyar
