“And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen” Mark 16:20 I greet you today, in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, trusting that all is well with you and yours. Gladly, we report to you that all is well with us and ours. INDIA Here we are in February, already, and on the 23rd, just a few days away, Mark and his team will be departing for Pune, India. We are excited about this trip, and so are our Indian brethren. All of us are believing God for a breakthrough in India. The “rest of the story” is in Mark’s column. NIGERIA It is official. I will not be going to Nigeria, in March. Our brethren there have determined it best to cancel this year’s Leadership Conference because conditions in the north are turbulent once again. Last month, President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in the north. The borders of Niger, Chad and Cameroon remain closed, and a

Greetings from the Great White North. Typical Juneau January… cold and colder, snow and more snow. You know the joke about shoveling while it’s still snowing? Well, here we have no choice. If you don’t shovel while it’s snowing you might not get out of the driveway. This is the time of year when we all question why we love it here. But spring is coming and soon enough, the steelhead will be back in the rivers and streams and we’ll remember why we love Alaska. Ah, spring… our annual reminder of rebirth and resurrection, renewal and revival. Definitely my favorite season. Plans for the India trip are progressing nicely. Bhalchandra is working hard on the promotions and seems to have most of the Christians in Pune praying. This should be a great conference. The team the Father has put together is awesome. Gifted teachers and preachers who know His heart and how to share it. We are looking forward to seeing Jesus show up in power and bless His Church of Pune. Mark is going to try and

“And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen” Mark 16:20 The first order of the day is to wish you a very Happy and Wonderful New Year as you venture out into the new opportunities that await you. Some folks are wondering if the world will come to an end in 2012, as the Mayan Indians and others have predicted, but our faith is not in these predictions. Our faith is in the words of our Lord Jesus Christ who told us to “occupy ‘til I come” (Luke 19:13), and so we carry on in full assurance that He is with us and will be with us all the way to the end, no matter when “the end” occurs. LTI’S CALENDAR FOR 2012 IS ALREADY FILLING UP Mark leaves for India on February 24th, and we are expecting this to be a most fruitful conference. Please read Mark’s column for all the details. I have planned to be in Nigeria again this year in March. However, the date for the conference is not yet known, a

Greetings from the Great White North. Here we go again. Record snow in November, barely any for most of December, now it’s piling up again. Such is life in Southeast Alaska. At least it’s never boring. INDIA CONFERENCE The plans for the India conference are progressing nicely. The conference theme is Living From Relationship. The focus of the conference will be living a life of relationship with God as opposed to a life lived by formula and principles. The conference format is workshop based and each teacher will be teaching every day. The theme and focus of the conference allows for a broad range of topics and the teachers are free to pick the topic of their choice. The attendees will be given a list of workshops and allowed to attend those that pique their interest. The daily schedule will include four meetings. Everybody will gather in the morning for a brief service of praise and worship and perhaps a little teaching. Then we will split up into workshops followed by lunc
